The Open Skiff Class Association is now accepting bids from potential organisers to host the 2026 Open Skiff World Championships and European Championships. This is a unique opportunity for sailing clubs, organisations, or venues to bring these international events to their waters and showcase their ability to host world-class competitions.
How to Apply
Interested organisers must submit their bids using the official bidding form, which can be accessed via this link: Open Skiff Bidding Form. The deadline for submissions is February 1, 2025.
Key Considerations
•The Executive Committee reserves the right not to host a separate European Championship if the World Championship is held in Europe.
•If necessary, the Executive Committee may choose to extend the bidding process to ensure the selection of the best possible venue.
